I am  building a Sonex aircraft ccheduled for completion around April 2015.

 

The Sonex is a recreational, 2 place, low wing, all metal aircraft suitable for light aerobatics and speeds of 150-170 mph.  I am building a dual stick, tail dragger, with the aerovee turbo engine.

 

As of Nov 2011 I ahve about 575 hours into the project and have completed the tail and 95% of the wing parts complete.  I am currently finishing assembly of the main main spars and hope to start th ewing assembly in Jan 2012.  After the wings are complete, I will move onto the fuselage (which is faily fast), then then landing gear, fuel sustem, controls, electronics/avionics, and finally the interior.
